Wearing a Black Cocktail Dress to a wedding?
I have a wedding coming up and i really dont have the money to buy a new dress. I have a black cocktail dress, with a vee neck and rhinestones around the bust line, i would accessorize it with rhinestone jewelry. Im just wondering if it safe to wear this, the ceremony is at 6PM and the reception is to follow. All of it is happening at a country club. It is also the first time i will be meeting my boyfriend's family. Someone plz help
It's funny how these things change from one region to another. In the NY area, it's almost *inappropriate* to wear anything *other* than black at an evening wedding at a country club! (I said almost.) 
It's more of a formal event, and it requires more of a formal dress (like yours). Sounds beautiful! You should wear stockings, too, and black pumps. It's really only inappropriate to wear white, because only the bride should be wearing white. Have a fantastic time!
