I'm looking for a cocktail dress for a wedding.. help, please?
I have an outfit in mind for a wedding and it pretty much looks like this (well it is this dress except instead of the silver bottom, it's fuchsia.. It was worn by actress Tessa James on Home and Away)... http://www.polyvore.com/manning_cartell_princess_tina_strapless/thing?id=17442104
this dress is sold out I think, but regardless it is also a little too expensive. Can anybody help me find a dress or sequence that looks something like this (black/fuchsia, strapless, cocktail dress? I would really love to wear this to a wedding I'm attending soon. Please help :/

Also, have you ever thought about "vintage reproduction clothing"? You'd be surprised how many drop dead gorgeous dresses are out there.
I recently found a site that had mostly repro vintage style women's clothing/dresses and I was in awe. I was just sitting her angry with myself for not being thinner to order anything. (I have MS, and right now my weight is a big issue for me) Anyways, the dresses were so elegant and beautiful. I've promised myself that come summer this weight will be gone and I will be ordering one of those dresses, even if I don't have anywhere to where it to. I CRASH A WEDDING IF I HAVE TO lol
Oh, one more thing. Also, go to Ebay and take a look at Vintage Jewelry. Regardless of the era dress you decide on, vintage jewelry makes a serious statement. Take a look at the makers, "Weiss, Julianna, Trifari, Ora, Beau Jewels, and Kramer". Trust me on this. I've been collecting Vintage Jewelry for more than ten years.
