where can i get a white summer dress for a teen?
i am looking for a short-white (cotton) summer dress for a teen about 15?
I'm looking for a white "flowy" dress that you would wear somwhere in the summer out to dinner for a 15 yr old.--not too fancy-causual
The Gap
Gap almost always carries at least one white summer dress in its spring collection.
My absolute favorite white sundress of all time is a Gap dress. It is a halter empire-waisted dress with all these diagonal seams on the A-line skirt that makes me look really thin. It was about $40 and I get more compliments on it than just about any other dress in my wardrobe. The other things I love about is that it is cotton and not only washable, but bleachable as well. It packs well, can be touched up with a steamer or some fabric spray-starch, or even steam from a shower and looks wonderful in minutes. I always take it on trips.
I usually wear it with a black wide-brimmed sunhat (also Gap) and black strappy sandals.
I have another white dress from Banana Republic (in South Beach Miami) that I wear a lot too. It is a sheath dress.
